Dr. Mike Micallef, husband, father, dentist, and friend. He was born in New Hampshire, lived his childhood years in Michigan, and moved to Alabama for his high school years. Off to Ohio, to Xavier University for his undergraduate degree, and finally to Wisconsin and Marquette University School of Dentistry. He has been in Wisconsin since 2002, met his wife at Marquette (Dr. Karen Micallef, practices in Wauwatosa) and now lives in Mequon. He has 2 wonderful kids, Tilly and Luke. Dr. Mike enjoys being a general dentist because he is able to perform many different dental procedures, but more than anything, he enjoys being able to see his patients grow, mature and age.
When not at the office, Dr. Mike is spending most of his time driving his kids around town to their many hobbies, cutting the lawn at his house, or chasing a little white ball around a golf course.
Dr. Mike has been fortunate to surround himself with a great support staff. From Gia in the front office, to Ashley and Jackie, the hygienists, and Alicia, his dental assistant. We take pride in being able to have great continuity from the front office to the treatment areas, and Family Tree’s staff works seamlessly together to provide you the best possible patient experience from start to finish.
Alicia - Dental Assistant
Alicia serves as Dr. Mike's chairside dental assistant. She and Dr. Mike have been working together 6 years. Alicia's warm and caring personality along with her easy laugh put our patients in a calm and comfortable state while receiving their dental treatment. Alicia is the glue that keeps our clinical team running effectively and efficiently day after day.
Ashley - Registered Dental Hygienist
Ashley is a highly trained registered dental hygienist that has worked in the dental field for over 15 years. Ashley’s attention to detail and enthusiasm to maintain high and current standards in the profession of periodontics are truly appreciated by her patients. Her ability to easily explain any dental procedure and positive outlook puts her patients at ease. Ashley looks forward to meeting you and helping you maintain a healthy smile!
Jackie - Registered Dental Hygienist
Jackie is a registered dental hygienist at Family Tree Dentistry. Jackie brings a kind and bubbly energy every day along with the latest clinical skills to help our patients maintain their oral health. Jackie uses safe, gentle techniques while cleaning our patients' teeth along with educating them on how to help care and maintain their teeth to help their smiles last a lifetime. Gia - Office Manager
Gia is Family Tree Dentistry's office manager. She is the friendly face that handles all of the administrative responsibilities for the office. She is the liaison between the clinical staff and front office. She has an in depth knowledge and expertise in insurance plans and claims submissions and will work with you to understand them. After having other customer service centered jobs, Gia has found a home in the dental field. She loves working with patients to achieve a smile they can be proud of. Gia's kind, warm personality along with her great attention to detail will help you find your place with Family Tree Dentistry.

In the fall of 2021, Family Tree Dentistry completed moving “its roots” from 6076 N. Port Washington to its new location, 4655 N. Port Washington Rd, Suite 125. The new office building has large parking lots to the north and south of the building and is easily entered in from Port Washington Rd in Glendale.
The suite is located on the first floor of the building and is built to accommodate patients of all needs. The office has been equipped with state of the art dental equipment and the latest in technology to provide treatment in comfortable and calm environment. Latest technology in Digital xrays, intraoral camera, CBCT imaging, in operatory patient TVs, and Adec dental equipment.
